Short Story
A mad scientist caused a catastrophe in his dungeon with one of his failed experiments, causing monsters to enter this dimension.
He now needs your help to clear the dungeon of these monsters, without getting caught in the process!
You will be equipped with a weapon, also created by him, that fires "unique bullets".
Keyboard Commands
On menus:
- To skip the audio clips, use space or enter
- To navigate within the menus, use up and down arrow keys
- To confirm an option, use enter
While playing:
- Left and right arrows: walk
- Up arrow: jump
- Down arrow: duck
- Space bar: fire
- Shift: hold and use the arrows to run
Page up and page down: adjusts the weapon's firing angle
- A: says how many shots are left on your weapon
- S: says your health percentage
- D: says how many items you have collected
- Escape: quit the game
About the Game
- Submission to the 2D Shoot-Out 2 jam;
- It uses interaction to a custom server who interacts with MetaFab in order to manage player creation, player custom data, and update the bullets type based on items collected throughout the level;
- This is a conceptual game, audio based only;
- To play it, you will need your keyboard and a headphones;
- Headphones are required because the game uses stereo sounds as bases of it's game play;
- It uses synthetic voices to tell the story;
- I apologize in advance for any bugs or English errors.
